CW in an Advanced search will find occurences of the word at the caret. It will find these words even if they are part of another word: in effect it is finding the occurrences of the letter string of the word at the caret.
If you want to find the word, and only the word, you can use, for example
| Search | \s cw \s |
| Search | " " cw " " |
