IconBar Global Choices - General

A Menu click on the IconBar icon will allow you to choose Choices.... A click on that will open the window, below. These are the Global Choices.

In addition a Menu click in any window will open a menu with Mode -> Open Choices... on it. A click here will bring up a similar window with different options. These are the Mode Choices and any change made here woould apply only to the Mode concerned. Covering these Mode Choices is well beyond the present articles, which deal only with the IconBar Global Choices.

Any changes you make will be applied temporarily if you click the OK button. If you want the changes to be permanent, click the Save button. The changes will then be saved in !StrED_cfg.UserPrefs.Global.Options.

The screen snapshots are from StrongED 4.70. Version 4.69 is worded a little differently (some of the icon texts have been clarified) and there are now some additional options in some windows.

Most of the features are self-explanatory. If you find that StrongED is claiming files when you do not want it to, the relevant option can be switched off. If you don't understand the choice, please ask - but it is probable that you don't use it so can leave it as it is.
