I am occasionally in touch. The situation is that Joe is bedridden,
and for some years has been suffering from trigeminal neuralgia, against the
pain of which he is drugged, sometimes to the point of being
unable to speak. His computers have not been touched for years.
I have occasionally raised the question of access to source code,
but Joe is unwilling to hand over his computers to others.
I could not, in all conscience, press the point.
