[StrongED] Manual - Tabstops
Being stuck on other things, I'm now trying to understand Tabstops in the
ModeFiles...
I understand how to define them - but how do you engage them?
Complicated Tabs will be most useful on a file-by-file basis. But putting
e.g.
tabstops [tab] 9,12,33*4
in the first line of head of the PipeDream file
http://stronged.torrens.org/man/PD/index
and save it as text doesn't work - the first line comes out fine as
tabstops [tab] 9,12,33*4
http://stronged.torrens.org/man/PD/index.txt
So can TabStops be put in a file?
Which other mode syntax defs can be put in a file and which cannot?
and under what circumstances will Mode -> choices... -> Tabs Custom work?
