Copy/cut/paste to/from global clipboard from StrongED edit windows:
csC csX csV

To then paste the clipboard into writable icons, you need IcnClipBrd:
cC cX cV cZ (where cZ is 'replace contents of writable icon with
clipboard')

IcnClipBrd is available from !Store (free).
