Not true: a beginner can ask very pertinent questions. If you write a
wrong - then I will know that it needs explaining. The only person who can
claim to have less than limited knowledge is Fred - and I'm sure he has to
look at the code to answer some questions.

That alone makes it useful. I've already learnt new things about AutoSave
by writing it up.

Ditto - which is why the project will take a long time. I would rather
write up pages on things people need to know than re-write what is already
available.

Questions are valuable - they also show someone is actually using what I
write.

It has taken me over 17 years to offer and not do it. Why should you feel
guilty?
