Thanks for the clarification. From what you say it sounds like this also
applies to "From:" keyword. If so, '_newstest' could be written as:

  _newstest   ** ( < \- "from:" | "path:" | "return-path:")

Which removes any hint of capitalisation and should cover all cases.
