That is entirely possible. The feature of StrongED of allowing an 
insert well beyond the end of a line is occasionally useful, and 
equally occasionally annoying. I do have a bit of a habit of 
attempting to press F5 and typing a line number, then finding I have 
pressed 5 and a line number. This often inserts text in the 
whitespace, and even after deleting it, the added spaces exist.
It's good to know that StrongED deletes them.
