Do you have RO *Configure Ignore set, or if it is not set, did it

to be set?
You say the problem happens printing from base mode - do you mean to
imply
that it doesn't happen in other modes?
All text files or just some of them?
If you open one of these files in Edit, does it appear to have extra
blank
lines? Can you print ok from Edit?
