Ths will happen when StrongED tries to autosave and can't find either
StrED_cfg or the AutoSave directory.

It looks like the abort happened outside StrongED as the StrongDump is
almost all 0's.

Quit StrongED if running.
Locate the correct StrED_cfg, ie the one you used with 4.70a11, and
double-click its !Boot file so that StrED_cfg$Dir points to it. Check if
there is an AutoSave directory. If not, create one. Leave the AutoSave
directory open.
Run 4.70a12 and create a new text and type something into it. Wait a
minute (the standard autosave interval) and see if a file List appears
in the AutoSave directory.

If it really is a StrED_cfg problem and the above doesn't fix it, then
going back to 4.70a11 will not help you as it will run into trouble too.
Cheers,
Fred.
