No, at least you'll need to update the KeyNames, Messages and Templates
files in Resources.UK as well. Other files might need updating too if
you want to use new features.

Are your modified files not stored in UserPrefs? If they are then there
should be no problem in updating StrongED itself.

If they're not then updating requires a bit more work. Basically, move
4.70a11 out of the way and put 4.70a12 in its place.

Then in 4.70a12 empty Defaults.Modes and copy all modes from 4.70a11.
You now have 4.70a12 but with your old modes, just new (mode) features
will be missing.
