I am determined to have (yet) another go at converting myself from Zap to
SE.

Should I start with v4.69f9  (20 Jun 2016)
                 or v4.70a11 (24 Sep 2016) ?

I believe these are the latest ones available.

I appreciate v4.70 is still only 'alpha' test but is it sufficiently
stable for normal use? 

Can they both be installed and use a common !StrED_cfg?

Are the Modes the same?

Is there any documentation on how to convert from  Zap to SE ?
