Changing from basemode to dump mode cause a problem with 4.70a5.

It is a persistent problem on my IYO 5.20

To reproduce: open a new StrongED window. Switch modes from basemode 
to Dump and it abends.

I will send  StrongDump and extract from reporter to Fred directly.
