The above does work, I have ensured that all Modes both in Defaults and
UserPrefs have been updated.

The easy way to make the change is simply to go to 'Font' in Mode Choices,
the BitMap entry will be in Red, select a new bitmap then save it.

I have had issues with recent alphas on OS4.39 but that is not what is
described here.
