That is to miss the point.
It would be polite to mention that your solution is non-RISC OS when 
posting to a list that is for an application that runs only on RISC 
OS.

In order to use Firefox or Chrome I would need to power on another 
machine, not very convenient when I am in the middle of posting from 
Messenger on an Iyonix.

Power on, wait for boot, get the file which is on the Iyonix across to 
the non-RISC OS machine, start Firefox, upload the file, then return 
to the Iyonix to finish the mail.

No thanks, Richard's suggestion of an upload area is better.
