[StrongED] Transient 2.06 available

Transient 2.06 (stable) is now available for download from:

This release is much the same as v2.06b but slightly tidied up:

Changes from v2.06b (and earlier)

 - Handling of comments in the Choices file has been altered.

   o User added comments in the Choices file are no longer preserved.
     There's no need to edit the file by hand anymore so user added
     notes are unlikely. Besides preserving the comments was a bit of
     a pain, and they were lost when the Choices file changed version
     (which is the case with v2.06).

   o The standard comments in the Choices file are now read from the
     Messages file. This has the advantage that they can be translated
     and it reduces the size of the RunImage slightly.

 - Saving from an application to Transient's iconbar icon.

   o In earlier versions of Transient saves from applications were
     marked as 'Safe'. However as the temporary directories can be
     expired they may not be permanent. Because of this v2.06 marks
     saves from applications as 'Unsafe'.

   o For those of you that prefer the old behaviour I've added an
     option to mark saves from applications as 'Safe'. The option
     defaults to Off, turn it on if you think it's OK to do so.

     With the option off, applications will not update the titlebar
     when a file is saved to Transient. When on, saving is the same
     as to a Filer window.

Futher changes from v2.05

 - Auto expiry of directories didn't work if warnings were off.

 - Changing directory format can now be applied to different scopes.

 - Objects dragged to iconbar icon can now be filtered to different users.

 - Changed expiry so we don't overrun the buffer for leafnames in FilerSWIs.

 - Scroll-list handling rewritten so it doesn't rely on ROL toolbox modules.


As always all feedback is welcome. In particular ideas for v2.07 as I
don't really have any, apart from better support for interactive help.
