A possible pointer, but more likely a red herring. I've just had 
EmailEdit crash again, while I was doing a backspace-delete to correct 
one of my many typos. I forgot to see whether it had taken StrongED 
down too, but I've learned to reboot after these crashes, otherwise 
MPro becomes unhappy. FWIW the error report is:

11 May 10:24:50 000 00800E07: Error from (unknown): Internal error, no 
stack for trap handler: Internal error: abort on instruction fetch at 
&60000116, pc = FC1696AC: registers at 000AFB90

No idea of this is relevant to the current problem.
