Loafing multiple PD files into SE and editing them all is child's play:
the format of PD files is published and I have done this many, many times.
It's often a lot easier to edit a PD file in SE than to change it in PD!
Even quite simple things.
They are actually nanufacturing parts lists. Obe of the things I often do
is a "Used-on" list, by seaching all files for the occurrence of a
particular part number. Can't do that in PD!

That is indeed what I cannot find out how to do! There is no <eof> marker.

"Simples"

You may be correct - because SE cannot do it.
I've not done any basic for so many years, not sure I could do that. I
suspect I could do it in Perl, but it would be a brain-acher!

100 or more, in several directories.
